Analyst Support Officer / Data Wrangler

What we need:

We need someone who is passionate about quality in data to join our small, friendly and enthusiastic team. Someone who can wrangle excel, SQL and other tools to do their bidding and can discuss and help create innovative data and analysis solutions. 

Most days, they will support our analysts by cleaning, auditing and reporting on data in a range of formats, including excel and text files, databases, GIS and documents. Some of this work will require scripts/programs to automate data preparation.   They will be required to prepare data for analysis, undertake simple analysis and operate off-the-shelf and custom analysis software (including some simple debugging/testing of custom applications).

About Us:

This website provides some information about the work we do.  We work with small sets of environmental survey data, large data from social surveys and business data.  We work with our clients to design data collection, to wrangle data and analyse it to help them make better decisions.  

We are a small but growing business.  We believe in professional development and support staff to join industry groups and attend conferences and training.  Our office in Williamstown has plants, lots of windows and coffee.

Hours

Full time is preferred, but we will consider applications for people with part time availability also.

Salary

From $44,000 to $52,000 per annum (pro rata). (The exact salary will depend on experience and skill levels).
